Today we introduce Okazaki Shrine, as known also rabbit shrine.

Okazaki Shrine is located in Sakyo-ku, Kyoto City, where also the famous Heian Shrine and Nanzenji Temple are located.

The Shrine is a popular visiting site especially for women, since it is believed to give divine grace for marriage, for blessing with children, and for safe delivery.

Cute rabbits around the shrine attract visitors.

It might be a rabbit people’s ‘Mecca’ rather than a ‘shrine’.
