Today, we would like to introduce ‘Kimono Forest’ at Arashiyama Station.
‘Kimono Forest’ is an assembling of ca. 2-metre-high poles which are covered by fabric of Kyo-Yuzen (=traditional dyeing technique of Kyoto) .
They make the poles look like a forest and situate them at station platforms or on rail ways aside.
You can enjoy it even more at night, since LED lightning is set inside the poles. It will invite you to the wonderful atmosphere given through mellow light of lamps.
