To-ji temple, located in Kyoto City, is the head temple of the Shingon sect of Buddhism and was registered as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1994.
While it may not be as famous as Kiyomizu-dera temple or Fushimi Inari Shrine, it has its own charm, especially during cherry blossom and autumn foliage seasons when it is illuminated, offering a captivating sight.
