Q & A

Q1. What is OEM?
A. OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturing. It refers to contract manufacturing, where products are produced under the client’s brand name.
Many private brand (PB) products on the market are considered OEM products.

Q2. What are the benefits of OEM?
A. OEM allows you to reduce the significant costs associated with obtaining manufacturing licenses, building factories, and introducing production machinery.
This enables you to focus your resources on sales and marketing.

Q3. How long does it take from order to shipment?
A. After the design is finalized, it takes a minimum of 1–2 months until shipment from the factory.
※The timeline may vary depending on packaging specifications, order quantity, factory line availability, and other factors.

Q4. Who owns the trademark and product rights?
A. All rights belong to the client.

Q5. What is Kyoto Shuzo’s OEM export record?
A. We started OEM production in April 2025. As of September 2025, we have already exported over 100,000 bottles worldwide.
About 70–80% of our exports go to the United States, 10–20% to China, and we also have shipments to Europe.
