Hello, this is Kyoto Miyako Distillery.

Kyotamba-cho, where the distillery is located, is surrounded by abundant nature, with the Yura River known as a fishing ground for sweetfish (ayu), and the surrounding area encompassing mountains such as Choryo Peak.

At the Michi-no-Eki (roadside station) “Nagomi” near the distillery, they sell salt-grilled sweetfish during the summer season. This delicacy is available only during this time of the year, and the freshly grilled sweetfish is incredibly delicious and fresh. If you visit Kyotamba-cho, please do make sure to stop by and savor this unique local specialty.
