Kiyomizu-dera Temple is a popular tourist spot in Kyoto and is also registered as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
It’s located near Yasaka Shrine, which we introduced a little while ago. Along the approach to Kiyomizu-dera, called Kiyomizu-zaka, you’ll find numerous souvenir shops and cafes, making it a great place for a culinary stroll.
Because it’s a popular attraction, it can get quite crowded, but if you’re interested, do consider paying a visit.
